Quail's Birthday Fundraiser

Princess Quail will be 15 on July 2nd. We think that's kind of a big deal for a 60 pound black lab (shhhh...don't tell her I shared her weight) who survived a massive stroke a year and a half ago. We are celebrating with lots of hugs, dog treats, bananas and a Fundraiser too!

Thankfully I have never been in a situation where I haven't been able to care for our pets. But for some people, there is no choice except to give up their pets.

Ruff Haven is a pet crisis shelter - they provide 60-90 days of emergency sheltering and fostering to people experiencing a crisis or temporary hardship. Rather than losing their pet to a shelter, rescue or a new family, their pet is temporarily sheltered until they can be reunited. 

More than 65% of domestic violence survivors say that one of the things that delayed them leaving a relationship was due to not having a safe solution for their pet. Praline’s Backyard Foundation provides free pet boarding for people fleeing domestic violence so that they can seek safety for the whole family. Through their growing network of boarding facilities and foster homes across the country, they are able to help provide a temporary safe haven for pets during the transition into a new life for the whole family.

100% of the sales from this set will be donated 50/50 to Ruff Haven and Praline's Backyard Foundation. This fundraiser runs through the end of July and fundraiser items will start shipping after July 15th.
