About the Yarns

Some things to consider when you're ready to start your project.  If you ordered more than one skein in the same color, then I dyed your yarns at the same time. However, skeins can still vary slightly within the same pot.  Some skeins are greedier than others and steal more color! To even out your skein colors, you may want to knit a few rows from skein 1, then a few from skein 2, then a few from skein 1, etc...

• Scrumptious HT - 2 ply 80% Superwash Merino / 10% Cashmere / 10% Nylon - 400 yards per 100 gram skein.
• Truly Scrumptious - 4 ply 70% Fine NSW19 Micron Merino / 20% Cashmere / 10% Nylon - 465 yards per 100 grams skein
• Practicality 75/25 - 4-ply 75% Superwash Merino / 25% nylon - 463 yards per 100 gram skein.
• Quintessa - single ply 100% Superwash Merino - 400 yards per 100 gram skein.
• Harley - 55% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon / 20% Kid Mohair - 438 yards per 100 gram skein.

Scrumptious HT-150 -- love Scrumptious HT but want more yardage? Go for the High Twist-150 version with 600 yards in 150 gram skeins (formally named Scrumptious HT-SC)

​Scrumptious DK - a soft and strong 4-ply yarn with 231 yards per 100 grams in 80% superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon. 

​Shepherd's Cut Light Fingering -- need more yardage? Consider Shepherd's Cut -- a 6 ply 100% superwash Merino with 820 yards in 150 gram skeins! The extra generous helping makes it the perfect choice for full-sized shawls.  Use 2-3 skeins for a sweater!  From simple stockinette to complicated lace, your stitches will shine.
