Just as with Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, the hues in this shawl highlight the earthy and the ethereal, the pragmatic and the poetic. The alternating lace patterns bring to mind harmonies so well-balanced and entwined, you’re not sure where they begin or end. Knit double-stranded in wool and mohair/silk bases from Marianated Yarns, the large finished shawl is as comforting as another listen to “Galileo” or “Closer to Fine”.”
